About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team, supporting our Go-To-Market (GTM) organizations. As an HRBP, you will collaborate closely with Sales and supporting Revenue department managers to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture. You’ll partner with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to design and execute the strategy for how we hire, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize. In our hands-on culture, you’ll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with teams across Motive to get things done. This role requires working closely with the Senior /Lead HRBP for the organization. The work requires strong communication, a heightened attention to detail, superb organization skills, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with employee relations, performance management and disciplinary actions, company policies implementation, and change management, people and business oriented, and is comfortable operating in an organization that is growing quickly and changing constantly.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with the Senior / Lead HRBP to understand business goals and HR strategies supporting them and drive their implementation in the field in a unified way. Serve as an upward communication channel on important development in the field that could affect HR strategy.
- Serve as a partner to mid level managers on building and managing effective teams (leadership effectiveness, onboarding, performance management, engagement, employee relations).
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on talent development, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and addressing employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to implement programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention within Sales.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support change management initiatives within the Sales organization, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- Integrate diversity, equity and inclusion principles into talent management practices within the GTM organization, promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP role supporting a Sales or related client group.
- Strong understanding of HR Best Practices and the specific company function they support.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive HR initiatives and solve complex organizational challenges.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Analytical and solution oriented mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Experience with change management processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience supporting global teams is a plus
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:
$83,000—$127,000 USD
