Human Resources Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Operations
- Lead all HR initiatives, systems, and strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary administrator of the HRIS database, optimizing processes to support business needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, encouraging growth and excellence.
- Continuously review and update policies, manuals, and procedures to stay compliant with legal standards and industry best practices.
- Strategically assess and enhance the effectiveness of current programs, making recommendations that align with company goals.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to support HR strategies, including staffing, compensation, talent development, succession planning, and career pathing.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, serving as the company representative with government agencies such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth & PAG-IBIG Fund.
- Actively support and implement HR projects, staying flexible to business needs.
Employee Experience, Engagement & Career Development
- Foster a positive employee experience through regular, high-touch check-ins with staff.
- Develop and implement comprehensive career pathing programs that provide clear, actionable growth opportunities for employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure that employees are aware of career development options, training, and potential advancement opportunities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that reflect our company values, ensuring staff feel supported, engaged, and connected.
- Collaborate on leadership development programs, integrating engagement, leadership training, and career growth opportunities into ongoing employee development.
- Drive employee survey initiatives, analyzing results to develop actionable strategies for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the champion of employee feedback, ensuring survey insights are shared and acted upon at both team and company levels.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing grievances, complaints, and conflicts in a timely, fair, and compliant manner.
- Lead investigations into employee concerns, ensuring impartiality and adherence to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Advise leadership on managing employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with employment laws and mitigate litigation risks.
- Monitor key employee relations metrics, including turnover, engagement, and career development, and drive initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Behavioral Science, Human Resources Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience as HR Director or Head of HR
- BPO experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employee relations best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and mediation experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven ability to build positive working relationships
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Full understanding of HR functions and management principles
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Exposure to payroll practices
- Ability to establish credibility and build strong relationships
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms like BambooHR, and other platforms like, Monday.com, Bonusly, Workable, Deputy, ADP systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated team player with strong prioritization skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing responsibilities
- Positive attitude and strong ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Quick learner and able to develop subject matter skills
- Being able to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls/meetings/chats during weekdays working
- Quiet workspace, conducive to video meetings & calls
- Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection; at least 25MBPS.
- Double monitors preferred but not required (if available)
