Now is an exciting time to be part of Unanet’s Human Resources Team. During your Returnship you will have an opportunity to work with experienced HR professionals and assist with a variety of initiatives focused on enhancing the operational elements of the HR function, not limited to employee programs and engagement, HR-related documentation, compliance, and internal communications.
Who You Are
- Prior professional experience in Human Resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technologically savvy
- Understand the need for confidentiality as it relates to people data
- Inquisitive and eager to learn
- Driven by curiosity
- Has been out of the workforce for 12 months or more
Your Summer
- Assist in maintaining a range of operational HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding, engagement & retention programs
- Work collaboratively with HR team to ensure an outstanding employee experience through the employee journey
- Assist in coordination of all employment verification, mandated training, and new hire requests
- Assist in updating and maintaining HR Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) in partnership with HR team
- Support programs involving employee experience, virtual events, community relations, engagement, and recognition
- Support initiatives and programs that foster productive, innovative, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environments across office-based and remote-based employees
- Assist in managing communication and communication strategy for Unanet HR and engagement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across Unanet, and a reputation as a trusted partner that employees and managers can come to for questions and concerns with both confidence and comfort
- Champion a successful remote work culture and are an effective remote collaborator yourself

The hourly pay for this opportunity is $26.00 per hour. You will be eligible to participate in Unanet's 401(k) plan.
