Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center) to join our team and play a key role on maintaining our data processing bare-metal server infrastructure, as well as improving it's stability, reliability and resiliency against server failures.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining and operating a fleet of ~400 Ubuntu Linux servers
- You support our team and other members from other teams with issues relating to infrastructure
- You continually improve monitoring and alerting of the infrastructure and make improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in the role
- Solid experience with Ubuntu Linux (hardware + software)
- Good understanding of Ansible + GIT workflows and CI/CD
- Experience in networking
- Experience in monitoring and alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus/Victoria Metrics, Centreon, PagerDuty)
- Availability for on-call rotation
- Solid experience with running and operating tools like Postgres, Kafka and Redis (+ cluster), Elasticsearch, Nginx, Docker
- Desired: Vault, Consul, Solr, Rundeck, GitLab, Kubernetes (RKE2), Opensearch
