Infrastructure Engineer Senior Advisor

Responsibilities:

Work with developers to define non-functional requirements.

Work with the data team to ensure the volume and integrity of the data will meet testing requirements.

Create and modify performance test scripts.

Test, measure, interpret application non-functional requirements.

Interpret infrastructure key performance indicators.

Diagnose application errors and slow performance.

Utilize DevOps tooling to automate testing.

Develop reports summarizing the results of testing.

Participate in calls or chat during load testing and go / no-go recommendations.

Engage various infrastructure and application teams to receive sign-off.

Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) including working with application teams, consulting firms, and product vendors.

Provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Partner with application development and production support leaders.

Engage in capacity planning discussions, forecasts, solutions.

Qualifications:

10 or more years of experience working in an environment supporting enterprise applications.

Strong Microsoft T-SQL skills and tuning.

Experience utilizing DevOps tools.

Experience managing large and complex end-to-end performance tests.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 116,400 - 194,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
