As our IT Security Specialist you’ll be responsible for the execution of all Infosec policies and procedures across the business. You’ll be experienced in conducting and communicating risk assessments and you’ll take great pride in providing technical support across the company. 

To help you best prepare, we’ve outlined the interview process for this role, we aim to have this process completed within 3 weeks:

  • 30 minute google meet call with our Talent Team
  • 1 hour google meet with our Head of Engineering 
  • 45 minute google meet call with a cross-functional panel 

Requirements

About you: 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 2+ years of experience working as an IT/ InfoSecurity Specialist or similar role. 
  • You’re vigilant to new or existing InfoSecurity risks and aware of the specific risks within our industry.
  • Able to own the company’s Infosec ecosystem and be our expert through experience. 
  • Comfortable providing technical advice and support across the company. 
  • You have the ability to self motivate and thrive in a growing startup.
  • You’re able to draft a
  • nd execute Infosec policies and procedures and communicate those with relevant teams.
  • Comfortable conducting and communicating risk assessments. 
  • You’re motivated to do great things and work with great people. 
  • Ideally you’ll have some Web3 experience and / or knowledge. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  1. Be responsible for the execution of all Infosec policies and procedures in accordance with relevant regulatory landscapes, including but not limited to:
  2. IT Governance Framework
  3. Information Security Management Framework
  4. Data Management Framework
  5. Digital Operational Resilience (DORA)
  6. Maintain, assess effectiveness and improve the Information Security Management System (including development of policies, procedures, plans, and guidelines related to information security) in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as industry standards and best practices.
  7. Identify, communicate and manage current and emerging security threats with relevant stakeholders/teams.
  8. Conduct operational and security risk assessments to identify existing information security risks, define the appropriate risk treatment plans based on the company’s risk appetite and monitor progress of their implementation.
  9. Planning and implementing the IT Strategy of the company, based on business requirements and KPIs. 
  10. Maintaining our IT Infrastructure. Owning the maintenance and enhancement of hardware and software systems to ensure smooth daily operations, including System Administration.
  11. Providing Technical Support, Overseeing troubleshooting, User Management (Access Management, Create & Delete Account, Define User Access Level etc.) and disaster recovery.
  12. Security Screening of Employees and/or external partners, when needed.
  13. Review of proposed technical work.
  14. Owning Security Training for our Staff members.
