Spotzer is a fast-paced, rapidly growing, global digital marketing business. Headquartered out of Amsterdam, we are serving tens of thousands of businesses across the world by building their websites, launching their paid search campaigns and creating power content.

We are looking for a native Italian Freelance Social Media Copywriter / Proofreader who can work remotely and help us deliver an insightful, creative copy to our small and medium business clients. You will be communicating with our Copywriting Service Manager who works from our office in Amsterdam. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of drafting engaging copy and writing high-quality content to achieve client marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production managers and content managers to develop engaging and compelling copy/content to achieve client goals.
  • Writing and editing engaging content for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Optimizing social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
  • Selecting appealing images and videos to complement text

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Native level of Italian
  • Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles
  • A degree or diploma in language, journalism, communications, marketing or any other related field
  • 1-3 years of experience writing as a freelancer or working for an advertising or marketing agency (traditional or interactive) preferred
  • A keen enthusiasm for and a basic understanding of web trends and technologies
  • A strong understanding of keywords research, SEO and SEM concepts
  • Good English writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands
