Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects within the Ivantage portfolio. This individual will work closely with various workstream owners to define the project team and assign responsibilities. The project Manager will also be responsible for developing project deliverables including calendars, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, stakeholder coordination and regular communication of status.

Primary responsibilities include guiding process development at a project team level, and managing multi-disciplinary, multi-function group of technologists and business professionals. This requires experience communicating across audiences, effectively defining and utilizing escalation paths, and updating stakeholders and our Go to Market meetings.

The Project Manager works in a dynamic, collaborative environment and reports to Program Manager and will support our Go to Market initiatives from a business perspective and may occasionally work on some technology projects across the enterprise


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Delivery

o Accountable for driving execution and delivery of small to medium complex projects from start to finish

o Demonstrates clear understanding of the project vision, objectives, scale and scope of work, expected outcomes, business value and impact, timelines, roadmaps, resource level requirements

o Establishes strong partnerships and engagement with project stakeholders

o Create full-scale project schedules and gain alignment with multiple stakeholders of multiple projects or components

o Ensures proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones, and deliverable tasks

o Work with our key stakeholders to establish project financial forecasts including resource plans and other expense plans as needed

o Actively participates in process and practice improvements in the project management environment and serves as a catalyst for project management excellence

o Provides management oversight, aligns and leads cross-functional project teams to ensure critical day-to-day project deliverables progress forward to deliver specified requirements, objectives, and value

o Identifies gaps in the project team’s accountability and ownership of deliverables

o Fosters a team environment of self-organization, retrospect to learn and adapt with the goal of delivering the highest value in day-day workload

o Aligns with our relationship teams to ensure deliverables are complete in a timely manner

o Demonstrate flexibility to align with other US time zones as necessary

o Communicates escalations to remediate risks/blockers impeding projects forward progression, as necessary

o Prepares program/project status reports to demonstrate project overall health, key performance indicator (KPI), risk, issues, accomplishments, next steps, and escalation requests

o Proactively identifies and resolves issues and risks on programs/projects to meet program commitments

o Creates data visualization elements to provide a graphic demonstration of project analytics and metrics

  • Communication

o Leads with practicality and wisdom in the midst of competing priorities and diverse personalities. Operates as an independent and dynamic project leader. Highly adept at influencing without direct authority

o Facilitates project team meetings effectively, ensuring the desired outcomes are achieved

o Distributes timely and effective project meeting updates and call to action updates across multiple projects

o Demonstrates effective communication skills to facilitate project-related conversations with technology senior leaders/managers/directors and service owners alike, and driving tasks and project dependencies to completion across multiple supporting teams

o Escalates need for guidance and support to direct manager effectively

  • Project Management Lifecycle Disciplines

o Working knowledge of the integrated systems lifecycle development utilizing different – and sometimes – multiple development models (e.g., agile, waterfall, hybrid, etc.)

o Has understanding of technical project delivery with a focus on Agile deliver

o Comfortable at using modern work management and collaboration tools (Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project on the Web, Confluence, SharePoint/Teams)

o Manages project document repositories, ensures they are maintained and updated


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:

4+ years of applicable project management experience in a business environment

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

PMI or Scrum Alliance (or similar) certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred

Compensation offered for this role is $60,100.00-$102,625.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
