Full Job Description

As USD Clearing Product Manager for NA Corporates, you will be responsible for designing & influencing the roadmap of the product and owning the end to end product management functions. The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise regarding the USD clearing product, enabling them to take ownership and responsibility for delivering against strategy and achieving business objectives. As Product Manager you will be responsible developing services that meet the evolving needs of our corporate clients in North America, whilst also managing risks and ensuring compliance, working in partnership with the broader USD Clearing team. As P&L owner you will also be responsible for tracking and reporting financial performance, helping ensure targets are achieved. The individual will also lead and support key strategic initiatives within the broader team that is responsible for US ACH business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the product P&L, driving new business opportunities
  • Develop subject matter expertise on high value clearing products as well as a good working knowledge of other products and services used by clients
  • Understand and manage adherence to clearing participation rules and requirements
  • Deliver and maintain high quality internal product material and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with functional partners (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations, Finance) on product enhancements and new product developments.
  • Work closely with the other Product Managers, Product Sales Specialists (PSS) and Sales teams in the US (and other regions as needed) to understand clients needs, changes in industry landscape and provide integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to client RFPs and product deep dive sessions as part of the sales process
  • Understand corporate client needs for new features or enhancements to existing and work with the broader clearing team to drive requirements & investment planning
  • Deliver and/or coordinate product training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Develop detailed and flexible quantitative models that analyze a variety of financial and non-financial business data.
  • Promote and appropriately price clearing services.
  • Present updates to all stakeholders, including management teams.
  • Understand the risks inherent in the clearing products and help define strategies to manage controls.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to complete industry and regulatory reporting/ questionnaires.
  • Procedure maintenance for implementations and client service
  • Support incident management and associated follow-ups/reporting
  • Lead / support other strategic initiatives as part of the broader team that is responsible for US ACH business

Key Attributes/qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in a Financial Services firm Business Program Management / Strategy/ Consulting experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a positive and tenacious attitude
  • Inquisitive nature with advanced problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn the technical and operational aspects of the clearing products quickly
  • Team player and capable of building relationships with key business partners
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive self-starter, takes ownership of initiatives from the start; sees through to completion
  • Confidence in excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

Periodic travel is required
