As Junior Graphic Designer, you will work directly under the Senior Graphic Designer and extended Marketing team to disrupt a $30 billion industry. You love collaborating with a team and using creativity and data to develop insight led campaigns. Your creative and design expertise will help the team achieve its mission to get Ollie into the bowls of pets everywhere.
This role will report to our Senior Graphic Designer and is based remotely in the US.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the development of compelling creative for our digital marketing channels that drive customer acquisition.
- Execution of visual designs for a range of marketing materials including digital and print assets.
- Work cross functionally and collaborate with the creative team and project owners from various channels to maintain Ollie’s visual brand identity.
- Must be comfortable with direct response oriented product marketing
- Be a strategic partner who can help in conceptualizing and communicating ideas visually
- Support the designing of layouts, illustrations, graphics, and print needs across all channels.
- Stay up to date with the industry trends, design best practices, and new technology and software.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines accordingly.
- Support Ollie’s business through recurring channel needs, such as promotional and lifecycle emails and promotional banners.
- Assist in maintaining the organization and archiving of design assets.
Who You Are:
- Organized with the ability to manage numerous projects, tight deadlines, revisions or shifts in direction effectively
- Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Able to translate business goals into innovative, meaningful, and differentiated brand assets
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment, receptive to feedback, and open to learning from the senior designer.
- Able to work in CMS (Content Management System) to design an build effective landing pages
- Able to operate at a fast pace, with no ego
- BA in graphic design or related area
- Familiarity with print production and specs
- Refined design sensibility, aware of current design trends to continue to elevate Ollie’s perspective to remain relevant
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe CS, video editing, G-Suite
