Junior DevOps Specialist

ICF is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted consulting company, seeking a Configuration Manager (DevOps). This CM will help with modernization of legacy applications for a government agency. The ICF team performs modernization development and maintenance on a variety of web-based applications. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.

This role can be 100% remote, however the candidate must reside within the US and work must be performed in the US.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work in an Agile team with clients to modernize websites and applications
  • Help to build/automate Cloud environments and procedures
  • Configurating entire Windows ecosystems in the Cloud
  • Test your work

What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • 4+ years’ experience in software development
  • 1+ years’ experience with AWS (Namely Secrets Manager, SSM, Patch manager, Parameter Store, secrets rotation etc.)
  • 1+ years’ experience with PowerShell
  • 1+ years’ experience configuring Windows servers (preferably via automation).
  • 1+ years’ experiencing using different types of CM-related tools (Windows or otherwise) such as Ansible / Chef / Puppet
  • 1+ years’ experience using AWS User data scripts
  • Due to federal contract requirements, the candidate must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Must reside within US and work must be performed in the US.

  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with CloudFormation
  • Experience with .NET development
  • Github / git experience (Gitlab, Bitbucket)
  • Experience setting up whole Windows ecosystems in the Cloud (Active Directory, users, groups profiles, etc.)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$75,157.00 - $127,767.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
