About the role
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be a key member of our Global Creative Team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality visual digital designs for the Glorify app as well as global marketing materials. Working closely with our Brand Designer, Art Director and Motion Graphics Animator, you will help ensure all designs fit the brief, are in line with Glorify's brand guidelines and meet the needs of the target audience. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and an eye for excellent photography. You should also have a natural ability to work efficiently and effectively within a fast-paced startup environment.
Your responsibilities
- Create visually compelling marketing materials and mobile-first deliverables for the Glorify app
- Collaborate with the Global Creative Team to ensure that all designs produced are consistent with brand guidelines
- Developing graphics, icons, illustrations and presentations from scratch and/or work with templates for the mobile app and marketing materials
- Research and design concepts for campaigns with the Global Creative Team
- Create design deliverables with templated working files for other designers to localize for other markets
- Comfortable with receiving constructive feedback and apply learnings to improve user experience through Glorify’s ever-evolving visual language
Requirements
- You should have held at least one role as a digital design-focused graphic designer, including basic experience with video editing software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with working experience in Graphic Design or any other related field
- Strong skills in Adobe CC suite: specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience working with collaborative interface design tools such as Figma or equivalent would be highly preferred
- Strong typography skills in digital environments
- Skills in illustration are beneficial
- Experience working with, and adhering to brand guidelines and standards
- Confident and concise in presenting work with ability to work with feedback from different stakeholders
- A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt in a fast moving business
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- General design admin work such as exporting assets, organizing files in Google Drive and Figma, and keeping Asana up-to-date
- Video editing skills and/or motion graphics skills are considered to be a plus, but we are happy to provide support and training (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
