IONITY is looking for a skilled and motivated Junior Social Media Manager to join the Brand, Marketing and Communications team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies that align with IONITY’s marketing and communication goals.
  • Content Creation: Work with the Content Marketing Manager to create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Ensure content is aligned with our brand voice and key messages.
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and interactive environment on all social media platforms. Gather feedback from customers to inform our content strategy.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Platform Analytics, Meltwater, or similar. Prepare regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements based on insights.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Identify and recommend new opportunities to engage with our audience.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, promotions, and contests. Recommend which organic content should be boosted through paid activities. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Visual Content Development: Work with graphic designers and video producers to create visually appealing content, including images, graphics, and videos that enhance our social media presence.
  • Content Calendar Management: Assist in developing and maintaining a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all platforms.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Professional Experience: 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within the automotive or technology sector.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices. Eagerness to experiment with tools like ChatGPT or other AI tools. Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. German is a plus; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Tools: Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meltwater, Buffer), content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or Platform Analytics).
  • Competencies: Creative thinker with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a comparable qualification.
