Main Purpose of the Role

Welocalize is currently looking for a Korean Monolingual Writer to join our growing team for one of our exciting global clients.

Project Details

  • Title: Korean into Korean Marketing &film/TV industry Writer
  • Location: Remote
  • Content Specialties: Marketing/film/TV
  • Expected Volume: 2,000 to 5,000 per week
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract.

Main Duties

  • Create highly visible copy to bring members a truly local user experience in their native language.
  • Work mainly on high-priority titles and projects ranging from synopses and key art to trailers and collaborates as needed with the (Regional) Language Managers to perfect the Producers to understand needs
  • Content types: Marketing/film/TV
  • CAT Tool: working with client Tool
  • Expected capacity per week/month: weekly 2,000 to 5,000.

Required Skills

  • Korea-based, speaker of Korean to a native level
  • Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation and ongoing engagement with the living language
  • Cultural sensitivity and extensive understanding of terminological/cultural nuances
  • Professional training or extensive experience in copywriting, screenwriting, creative writing in film/TV industry with a solid portfolio of work
  • Exceptional writer
  • Creative thinker that can come up with multiple fresh ideas that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Ability to flex voice and style
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and industry trends
  • Ability to stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
  • Solid research skills
