In This Role You Will

  • Manage, mentor, lead by example and advocate for a team of Backend engineers.
  • Work with design, production, and other departments to manage the development and deployment of Backend features.
  • Design, implement and champion new processes that improve the workflow and environment of your team.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation to improve your team's ability to work more effectively.
  • Drive recruitment, interview & grow the engineering team.
  • Writing robust, maintainable Backend code.

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable communicating with other team members on a daily basis.
  • Enthusiastic about mentoring and serving others to empower them to success.
  • Excel at problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Proactive approach to automated testing, writing unit tests, integration tests etc. AWS/Docker/Git/SQL/NoSQL/Rest.
  • Keen eye for improving the workflow and environment of others.
