Brain Racers is building an esports platform for education, to drive engagement and utility inside and outside the classroom. We blend AI, gaming and esports to progress kids from Grades 3 to 7 in Math, English and cognitive skills.
We will provide every child in the world a personalized learning journey towards a strong foundation.
We hold fun events with esports, to motivate kids (and everyone) towards learning and brain improvement. Imagine Spelling Bee and the Olympics had a child, and it was raised in the modern era of gaming and esports!
We are looking for an individual who can take initiative to implement our vision with us quickly. You must be a hands-on designer with an eye for clean and simple design, with the skills to create high fidelity screens, and have the ability to perform in a resource constrained environment. Mobile gaming, eSports and ed-tech experience is desired.
You will work with the team on user experience and user stories, and exectue on the design components to bring new screens and animations into the app. You will also be responsible for making decisions related to design frameworks and roadmap.
Desired skills:
- 3 years + proven in responsive web UI experience
- Experience with motion graphics is a plus
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating storyboards, user flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Aftereffects or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Game design experience is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experiences
- Ability to execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
