Phreesia is looking for a Lead Manager, Business Intelligence, to mentor a team of Data Analysts focused on providing meaningful data analyses from across the Phreesia Life Sciences and Payer business to influence business-decision-making.

We’re looking for a data-savvy individual who is willing to develop and grow a team focused on data analysis, data validation, and data visualization, working with multiple data sources. You’ll use your technical and business expertise to solve complex problems with healthcare data and deliver results to executives across the organization. By using different pieces of data from all over the organization, you’ll craft a story that will help us better understand our patient and provider network which as a result, will help patients take an active role in their care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become an expert in Phreesia’s data landscape; leverage that knowledge to answer questions, solve problems and improve processes
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members including, but not limited to, Campaign Analytics, Product Management, Sales, Market Development, and Executive Leadership to proactively identify how data analyses can help to inform business decisions
  • Prioritize requests based on urgency, business impact, and level of effort
  • Manage a team of data analysts focused on identifying business patterns through quantitative data analysis and ad hoc or ongoing reporting
  • Identify and champion integration of data sources and structural changes to support greater efficiency in analysis of large and complex datasets in different formats
  • Demonstrate an in depth understanding of cloud-native querying tools and related data products to support, manage, and collaborate alongside other business units, leveraging AWS and or the most appropriate tool
  • Identify opportunities for automation and visualization of recurring requests and create dashboards to support those
  • Work with multiple data sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, and write SQL queries to extract the data, using tools like Python to gain efficiencies
  • Package data into compelling stories that disseminate key insights to drive the business to action using Excel or Tableau to organize, sort and summarize the data

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in data or business analysis or business intelligence. Analytical work experience within the healthcare industry (i.e. hospitals, network, ancillary, medical facilities, healthcare vendor, commercial health insurance company, large physician practices, managed care organization, pharmaceutical, behavioral health organization, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing and growing a team
  • Mastery of SQL and BI and data visualization tools (i.e Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI), experience with Python
  • In depth understanding of cloud-native querying tools such as AWS Athena, Snowflake, or related data products
  • Ability to reconcile and analyze large data sets to extract key metrics and identify trends
  • Experience leading transformative internal projects to evolve data analysis and business insights delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and build strong relationships across business stakeholders

Base pay for US is $130,000 - $175,000, depending on qualifications. In addition, Phreesia also offers equity as part an attractive & comprehensive Total Rewards package.
