Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

Our mission to deliver honest financial products that improve lives extends beyond borders. Consumers across the globe are in need of safe, transparent financing and our retail partners need Affirm to be there for them, wherever that might be. 

Affirm’s app is one of the heavily utilized apps in the BNPL space. Our direct to consumer channel is growing rapidly and we are seeking a product leader to further accelerate this growth. 

As one of the leaders in this space, you will focus on coming up with a cohesive strategy as well as focus on rapid, iterative execution to help engage and grow our consumer.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a GM of your area. Focus on end to end success of the product.
  • Deeply understand the needs of users coming to Affirm directly and be their advocate
  • Be an expert on our customers, product, and their convergent value proposition
  • Partner closely with the business to build a cohesive GTM plan
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows
  • Collaborate across functions – including engineering, design, finance, risk, sales and legal – to successfully launch and scale our products
  • Analyze the user impact of product features and define key metrics for success
  • Optimize user flows using controlled experiments and user testing

What We Look For

  • Passion and drive to change consumer finance for the better
  • Hustle: We are still in the startup phase. This means that we optimize for A+ execution with ambiguity and ever changing constraints as the backdrop.
  • Thrive in ambiguity: Options are endless, judgment is key. You must be comfortable operating autonomously and unafraid to learn/fail fast.
  • Results driven: You keep your eye on the big picture and appropriately balance small vs. big bets in your roadmap.
  • Obsesses over getting the details right, but knows how to ship on time
  • 7+ years of B2B2C experience with an emphasis on the C
  • Track record of successfully launching and growing software products/services
  • Clear and compelling in written and verbal communication
  • Driven to question assumptions and validate hypotheses
  • Experience with consumer finance, mobile apps and/or payments is a plus

USA Pacific base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $190,000 - $284,900

USA Sapphire base pay range (all other U.S. states): $171,000 - $256,500

Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office. A limited number of roles remain office-based due to the nature of their job responsibilities.
