Role:
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who is passionate about leading project teams and ready to take the reins of our Engineering Team. You will be at the forefront of developing innovative staking solutions, ensuring the team's success, and guiding them through various technical challenges. Your role will be pivotal in upholding our commitment to regulatory compliance, performance optimization, and premier service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team in crucial projects, providing both technical direction and mentorship.
- Evaluate technical risks within project scopes, offering insightful recommendations and introducing best practice.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, understanding the intricacies of our business, products, and customer base.
- Drive the architectural design and practical implementation of innovative software solutions.
- Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our software systems.
- Guide the development team through all stages of the software development life cycle, ensuring excellence in design, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Produce scalable and efficient code, setting the bar for the team's coding standards.
- Perform code reviews, providing valuable feedback for continual improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has strong proficiency in Python.
- Has experience with at least one of the following: C#, Java, C++, or GO.
- Possesses extensive experience in working with and building robust APIs, demonstrating a deep understanding of how to integrate multiple systems together in a cohesive and efficient manner.
- Experience in building reliable infrastructure on the Cloud.
- Familiarity with data engineering practices, tooling and approaches.
- Familiarity with Airflow or other similar tools.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Genuine interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- Enjoys being deep in the technical weeds as well as taking a bird eye view for the future of the team and position of the tech within the wider business
- Exceptional communication skills.
Bonus:
- Hands-on experience in the crypto industry.
- Experience working with data pipelines.
- Comfort in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
