Product Summary
The MeasureAble product is a quality measures solution that combines complete data, measures, visualizations, and workflows (measurement, improvement, and submission) into one comprehensive system. MeasureAble calculates performance, displays a measure performance dashboard, and a submission engine that submits data to payers—creating a single, authoritative source of truth, starting with quality data aggregated by the Health Catalyst Data Operating System (DOS™)
Who You Are
You are looking to utilize your experience and skills to lead, manage, mentor, and build extremely talented software engineers to deliver industry changing software to support clinical health measures. You can seamlessly switch from diving deep into technology with engineers to driving high-level strategy discussions and product-segment opportunities.
What you'll own:
- Deep technical experts and thought leaders that help accelerate adoption of the absolute best engineering practices, while maintaining knowledge on industry innovations, trends, and practices
- Role models and mentors, helping to coach and strengthen the technical expertise and knowledge of our engineering and product community
- Lead, manage and grow multiple disciplinary areas of product focused software engineers
- Work with product managers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack development tools and technologies
- Support and lead initiatives to integrations with a modern cloud-native data lake platform
- Participate in a team-based Agile environment, collaborating closely with other developers, working with product managers, user-experience designers, data science and modeling specialists, and QA (Quality Assurance)
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering discipline, or equivalent level of professional experience
- Expert level Ruby on Rails skill is REQUIRED. *Please do not apply if you do not meet this qualification*
- At least 3 years' experience in people management
- At least 3 years’ experience using CI/CD and DevOps tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in architecting and delivery software solutions
- 3+ years’ experience with AWS services
- 3+ years’ experience with containerization services, preferably Docker
- 3+ years’ experience working with relational databases, preferably Postgres
- 5+ years’ bringing new commercial product features to production
