You are:

An experienced Life Insurance and Annuity professional who has had extensive experience in the industry. You have strong knowledge of the life and annuity insurance industry and a strong understanding of the industry business processes and products. You have experience and expertise in both individual and group policy processes.

Working in product management, you will be involved in the oversight of technical and business product management processes. You will drive and contribute innovation thinking to develop and deliver differentiated offerings. There will be collaboration with ALIP clients as well as analysts and partners and you will help drive overall product roadmap and strategic vision.

The Work:

  • Drive and contribute innovation thinking to develop and deliver differentiated offerings
  • Develop, manage, and communicate product strategy and roadmap (function and technical)
  • Develop, manage, and communicate go to market strategy
  • Drive strategic governance of business and product configuration
  • Provide oversight across client configuration practices for base-first approach
  • Enhance ALIP’s marketplace reputation via marketing and analyst communication
  • Engage with industry analysts to represent ALIP Product and to discuss relevant industry trends
  • Attend industry trade shows to represent ALIP Product and research industry problems
  • Lead market research plan focusing on market problems across clients, prospects, and the life and annuity market
  • Propose Accenture and ALIP offering differentiators as part of pre-sales process and support as executive representation
  • Manage and develop strategic solutions for clients
  • Interact closely with client teams to manage any escalations
  • Represent ALIP Product in meetings with clients
  • Ongoing engagement with ALIP clients to drive growth discussions
  • Collaborate closely with function and technical product management leads
  • Mentor and lead product management resources
  • Engage across partnership discussions (within Accenture and external)

Here’s what you need:

  • A minimum of 12 years of Life and Annuity insurance (group and individual) industry experience including detailed knowledge of full policy lifecycle and business processes for new business and policy administration for group and individual insurance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience is required. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

Bonus points if:

  • You have European Market Insurance knowledge

Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $140,900 - $302,400

Colorado: $140,900 - $261,300

New York City: $163,100 - $302,400

Washington: $150,100 - $278,200
