About The Role

We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Copywriter to join the Marketing team, working remotely in Canada. Reporting to the Writing Lead, you’ll be a part of the Writing team who are responsible for the way KOHO talks across brand and product touch points.

You’ll be the go-to writer for lifecycle communications–writing emails, newsletters, SMS and push notifications across the funnel. You’ll also stretch into other writing projects to support the Writing team. 

This role is totally for you if:

  • You love language and its power to persuade and convert.
  • You simplify complex ideas into compelling, action-oriented marketing copy.
  • You’re analytical too. You understand how your role affects campaign conversion and you’re always on the lookout for opportunities to improve performance. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Writing emails, newsletters, SMS, push notifications across the lifecycle funnel.
  • Supporting the writing team on other projects, like organic social or paid ad copy
  • Collaborating closely with Lifecycle Managers to create hypotheses for copy experimentation
  • Articulating the rationale behind your approach and its impact
  • Bringing KOHO’s brand voice and style to life in your writing
  • Collaborating with other writers and designers to jam on ideas and share your craft

Who You Are

  • 3+ years copywriting or digital marketing experience, either in-house or in agencies. Fintech experience is a bonus
  • Has a strong portfolio of high-performing lifecycle copy 
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Understands Lifecycle Marketing, writing for different audiences and conversion tactics
  • Is a self-starter with energy, drive and determination to improve the user experience  
  • Has a sense of ownership over own work and can incorporate feedback
  • Is curious about briefs, deliverables, objectives and creative output.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is able to achieve quality and speed.

Compensation at KOHO is determined through various factors including but not limited to: comparable salary market data within Canada, technical skill assessment, a holistic view of previous work history, and internal pay equity with other KOHO team members.

Target Base Salary Range

$85,000—$100,000 CAD
