The Job

Embark on a transformative design journey with our team of three seasoned designers and a visual lead, each boasting 9+ years of expertise in graphic design, illustration, and localisation. Become an integral part of our expansive Visual Design Department, comprising 20+ designers dedicated to crafting every visual element within the app.

As we continue to grow, we're searching for a Localization Designer with a creative spark and a deep-seated passion for enhancing women's health. 

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role with.

Your Experience

Must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design (creating visual graphics for social media is a plus);
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Figma;
  • Good knowledge of composition and colour science;
  • Understanding of the latest trends in design;
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to give constructive feedback and work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment;
  • Ability to be proactive and take ownership of tasks with minimal oversight;
  • Flexibility to put in extra hours when necessary.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Localization, editing and updating illustrations and/or other graphic design assets for all content-related formats in the Flo app according to tasks;
  • Independently estimating the workload on visual localization tasks;
  • Working in close collaboration with the Localization Team, User-Centric Teams, and Release Team;
  • Providing the Localization Team with completed assets and supervising the linguistic review stage;
  • Preparing localization illustrations and/or other graphic design assets for all content-related formats in the Flo and transferring to the release team (naming according to the script);
  • Accompaniment and communication between the visual team and release manager in progress of uploading and testing localization content;
  • Developing, suggesting and implementing improvements to the visual localization process to improve the overall quality and timeliness of projects;
  • Developing visual guidelines according to visual localization needs and communicate with the Visual Team to ensure consistency in visual files;
  • Editing illustrations and other graphic design assets according to tasks set up by the Localization Team.

In Poland, we offer employment via a b2b contract. Please note that we can't work with business incubators.
