Manager-Marketing Analysis
Overview:
As a Manager - Marketing Analysis, you will be responsible for marketing insights and data inputs that allow the marketing and product management teams to perform market analysis and ongoing product planning which will impact the long-term success of TDS telecom and cable goals. You will also be responsible for providing critical inputs to new products business cases and marketing plans and for providing key input to drive product lifecycle and profitability decisions.
You will be supporting new product development, business development and expansion/fortification activities through market profiling. As a Manager - Marketing Analysis, you will investigate the behaviors of our customers as well as the characteristics of those customers that can be used to predict buying behavior. You are responsible for identifying market characteristics for current and prospective products and for developing customer segmentation profiles. This role will maintain database tools and perform ongoing market analysis to allow all teams to generate programs, build business cases, and look at new ways to increase the ARPU and/or market penetration. You will assist in any company partnerships or market expansion and will support the product management team, product development team and marketing with analysis as needed to meet overall business goals.
The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.

Responsibilities:
- Develops the marketing database and Salesforce/Marketing Cloud processes for both telecom and cable.
- Maximize revenue generation through analysis of current customer data and prospect data.
- Assist in develop standardized reports on marketing campaigns, revenue growth, unit growth, and churn, that will assist marketing teams and senior management in their efforts.
- Manage the prospecting tools and internal customer database tools to assist marketing and product development and product management in targeting lists, promotional campaigns, business case development and analysis.
- This would include creating new analysis reports and data inputs that each team would use to create or enhance programs and products.
- Work with internal and external vendors to enhance and update the customer and prospecting tools.
- Develop profiles for market, customer, and product analysis for both telecom and cable.
- This includes using internal and external information to determine customer telecommunications/data purchasing propensity, projected market shares for products and potential target markets with the highest potential to purchase.
- Work closely with multiple business functions to create analysis for new product development, business development (acquisitions), and expansions.
- Provide analysis on acquisition targets.
- Work with the market research team to collect primary and secondary market research to support market planning and new product planning for the marketing team.
- Work with Market management to create and maintain competitive intelligence tools and resources for marketing and sales.
- Develop presentations and supporting materials for use by senior management in corporate operations reviews, annual budget meetings.
Qualifications:
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 4+ years professional work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in market information, marketing, or product management.
Other Qualifications:
- Skilled in Excel, Access Database, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Proficiency with relational databases queries using SQL, MS Access, or PowerBI.
- Experience with SalesForce and SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
- Excellent written & oral communications skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and present results.

Pay Range: $81,400.00 - $132,300.00
