As the Manager of Technology Development Operations (DevOps), you will lead a team of skilled DevOps Engineers who design, deploy, and manage the infrastructure that supports the entire Perceptyx platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions delivered by the team meet the company’s technical, security, and compliance requirements while being delivered on-time and on-budget. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in driving the success of the Perceptyx platform, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and reputation.

What You Will Do:
- Manage the intake and triage of routine operational and platform support requests from across the company to ensure response times meet defined SLOs. Drive down manual work by identifying common repeatable tasks that can be automated away.
- Maintain a well-organized backlog of work for the DevOps team to consume and ensure that work is completed correctly and on-time.
- Collaborate with engineering, infosec, and compliance teams to ensure that features and capabilities provided by the DevOps team align with the company’s business and technical needs.
- Help the DevOps team collaborate with engineering to permanently solve reoccurring technical issues. Own the root cause analysis of complex issues that impact platform stability and scalability.
- Partner with compliance and customer service teams to ensure customer-facing technical and compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Participate in the on-call rotation in an escalation / backup capacity.
- Oversee the hiring, termination, coaching, review of work and performance, and career development of team member
Requirements
- 8+ years of building, maintaining and managing cloud environments across multiple cloud vendors (AWS a must, Azure and Google Cloud a plus). 3+ years leading a team.
- Possesses expert technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps), monitoring and management tools, deployment processes and related tools
- Demonstrable experience and solid understanding of agile frameworks and principles
- Experience working with development teams building microservice architectures in containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Go, Python, Shell, Perl, Vue.js, Bootstrap and others
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with ability to coach, mentor, and lead a highly technical.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Jira, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
- Possesses high level understanding in the areas of web application programming, content management systems, API, databases, and system design
- Outstanding communication abilities (oral and written communication skills)
- Ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel if necessary
- Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experience
Compensation: Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The salary range for the role is $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
