Surefront is a unified product collaboration platform to power growth and ROI. Our patented PIM + CRM + PLM solutions streamline omni channel sales, merchandising and product development, accelerating sales and amplifying margin.
We are a rapidly growing and fast paced team, looking for a skilled Marketing Content Writer who is excited to help us take our product to the masses. This will include leveraging SEO and CRM tools to drive traffic to our website, social media, press releases & blog posts. As a historical optimization writer and the voice of our company, your efforts will have a direct impact on our growth. You'll be a part of our marketing team, where you will have the opportunity to manage and improve the quality of all our content.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for writing, editing, and optimizing blog posts, long-form content (guides/ebooks), case studies, and web copy.
- Manage our content calendar; brainstorm new ideas for content, keywords, research topics relevant to Surefront, B2B retail industry & write each piece of content.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customer's interests and form content pieces around those interests.
- Edit and revise all our existing content according to a style guide and established criteria.
- In addition, this role owns our organic social channels (daily/weekly posting cadence and copy.)
- Set content marketing goals and objectives for our blog and other content offerings
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership teams
Qualifications
- Experience working at a startup is required.
- Able to operate independently and effectively in a startup environment
- 5+ years experience in software marketing
- Our ideal candidate is a talented writer with a keen eye for detail and an interest in search engine optimization (SEO)
- Extremely self-driven, a subject matter expert who doesn't need much guidance.
- The right candidate will care deeply about solving for results with quality content, have high attention to detail (ability to spot errors, typos, and inconsistencies), be meticulous, and contribute positively to team culture.
- A knack for understanding our audience’s intent when looking for and consuming information.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to quickly get up-to-speed on unfamiliar subject matter.
- A demonstrated a track record of submitting quality written work on a deadline.

- Experienced with marketing & analytics tools (such as Google Adwords, HubSpot, Google Optimize, Surfer SEO, ahrefs, etc.)
