Marketing Designer
About Codi | codi.com
We're on a mission to empower companies to thrive and employees to love their work lives. Codi creates a flexible workplace solution designed for the way people work today, with hospitality at its core. WFH is lonely, coworking doesn't build your company culture, and brokers offering multi-year leases give you headaches. We built Codi to break the status quo. We're simply the fastest, easiest, and most flexible office space partner. More than a space provider, Codi becomes a company's growth partner, adapting their spaces to the team culture and growth needs.
We're currently a team of 21. You'll work alongside an A-level team of professionals from highly successful leading companies, such as Airbnb, Lyft, WeWork, Sonder, Postmates, and many more.
About the Role
You will enter a transformative tech company at the ground level and become an instrumental part of its growth. In this contract role, you'll be working directly with the Head of Marketing and Head of Design to support our campaign and marketing efforts through thoughtful art direction, graphic design, animation and illustration. You will collaborate closely with all members of the Marketing team to create + templatize digital and print collateral, as well as refresh our internal visuals like slide deck templates and branded swag.
We expect this role to be around 5-20 hours/week for ongoing Marketing collateral needs.

- You understand how visual tone and illustration differ between B2B versus B2C markets.
- You have delivered print design projects, utilized Pantone colors, and understand what design tools to work best for these projects
- You are agile and can work quickly to meet startup timelines; nothing crazy, but we do expect you to be an active and timely design partner.
- You have experience leading collaborative conversations with stakeholders and take initiative to collect the vital information you need to move forward.
- You are conscious of inclusivity and accessibility, such as diverse representation in illustration and a11y color contrast.
- You love cohesion; you make sure your visual themes tie back to the core brand descriptors.
- You have experience with spatial design. Our physical spaces are core to our brand and play a large role in informing the general visual design style.
