Your Responsibilities

As a Marketing and Insights Communications Manager for John Deere's Global Market and Customer Insights (GMCI) group, you will:

  • Develop, plan and execute GMCI Stakeholder Communications & Evangelism Strategy.
  • Drive communication around John Deere's Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP)
  • Coordinates with staff to develop and deliver GMCI Internal Communications & Meeting Planning.
  • Partners with the Region 4 Insight coach to support insight needs of the region, particularly relevant to new business models like (Recurring Revenue, BEV.)
  • Supports the Region 4 Insight Coach with Summary, Synthesis and Storytelling expertise.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

  • A broad background of business experience within or outside the Company. (4 - 7 years)
  • Project management experience including plan development, budget management, team management, requirements gathering, delivery and deployment. (4 - 7 years)
  • Community and/or media relations experience. (4 - 7 years)
  • Experience as a writer through lower level positions within organization, work as a journalist or writer, or work in marketing communications. (4 - 7 years)
  • Experience applying statistical analysis principles/methodologies in making recommendations. (4 - 7 years)

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)

  • Business knowledge, e.g., processes, relationships, etc.
  • Understanding of the business operations and the organizational structure.
  • Understanding of communication theories, especially employee/internal communications.
  • Knowledge of the communication planning process and measurement techniques.
  • Knowledge of data and tools for data management.
  • Knowledge of layout/design for both print publications and online. .

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Economics - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Statistics - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
  • Degree in an Education discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
