What We’re Looking For
Bodo is looking for an ambitious marketing intern who is ready to jump in and make a big impact at a fast-growing startup. With an active role in expanding Bodo’s go-to-market efforts, the intern will support lead-generation efforts through a variety of campaigns and marketing initiatives. This is a dynamic role with an opportunity to learn and experiment with modern marketing approaches while collaborating with various teams to make a meaningful impact.
Previous experience is preferred, but we’re always willing to give opportunities to those who hustle! The intern may also have the possibility of extending the internship, with limited hours, into the second semester. This role is based in Chicago, IL.
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
We are a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which means our projects are constantly changing. Some examples of projects you could expect during your time at Bodo include:
-Conduct market research and competitor analysis to help us find opportunities on how to position our product to the right audience.
-Contribute to marketing strategies, ideas, and plans— and have a seat at the table with the rest of our team. Manage organic social media presence and develop an analytical social listening framework
-Analyze campaign performance, and provide insights for improvement
-Project management of select initiatives, driving follow-through with internal and external stakeholders
-Manage event logistics to ensure we are getting the right materials to the right places for successful eventsOther projects as assigned
What You’ll Need
-Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program with a target graduation year of 2024 or 2025, with a focus on Marketing, Communications, or related field
-A track record of outstanding academic performance
-Able to be in the Chicago, IL office at least one day per week
-Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously while meeting deadlines
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points:
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Hubspot, or other marketing tools. Experience coordinating or executing digital programs (i.e. social media ads, organic posts, SEM marketing, or landing page/email program development)Previous internship experience at a B2B SaaS company
