About the Role
Vidyard is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Demand Generation, you will support the digital marketing strategy by implementing programs and tactics to increase product demand, enhance sales,, attract organic search traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. This role has high impact and value to the product-led-growth (PLG) motion of the organization.
This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada.
About the Team
The Demand Generation team consists of segment marketing, marketing automation, paid performance, and the web team. Our team plays a vital role in the customer journey starting at creating interest for our product line within our target audience across various channels, all the way through to multiple monetization paths, and many touchpoints in between. We work closely with various organizations across the company depending on the project and role.
Our key areas of focus are creating awareness for our products, acquiring leads and BUSUs, engaging our base with an emphasis on conversion, and increasing the likelihood to convert to a customer. Depending on where we see the biggest gaps or opportunities, our team is able to adjust our focus in order to maintain a healthy funnel.
What You’ll Work On
- Developing and implementing the company's web marketing strategy to generate high quality traffic, new user signups, and customer acquisition.
- Partnering with the digital channel lead, web development, web product management, product marketing, demand generation, design, and content to ensure the website puts our best foot forward, is intuitive and engaging, and helps drive new user/customer acquisition, product adoption and growth.
- Ownership of our SEO strategy and execution alongside the content team; collaborating with design, development, and content to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for the company's site. This will include day-to-day tactical optimizations as well as longer term, big projects.
- Proactively working with key stakeholders and cross functional teams across Vidyard to align the website strategy business objectives and strategic initiatives
- Driving execution of project deliverables on time and with accuracy
- Demonstrating proactive approach to digital trends and surfacing new digital concepts, ideas and approaches.
- Planning and implementing web-based marketing strategies and campaigns
- Leveraging internal self-serve resources and tools to execute against strategy where appropriate.
- Maintaining current knowledge of trends and developments in online marketing.

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing / web strategy in fast-paced digital environments.
- Experience working with SAAS businesses and/or digital marketing agency
- Minimum 1 year of experience planning and implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) projects
- Proficient understanding of website UX and conversion optimization principles.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
- Have experience using data analytics tool (Google Analytics, Heap, Google Optimize)
- HTML/CSS skills are a bonus as you will be working with web devs on occasion
