Marketing Operations Lead

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Lead to manage marketing automation, execute campaigns, optimize processes, and own reporting. This is a great opportunity for a marketing operations pro with a deep enthusiasm for data and analytics to take the next step in their career. This individual will be responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the marketing technology stack. They will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams to co-create processes and standardized operating procedures to support business strategies and objectives. This person will also oversee the Marketing dashboard and reporting, ensuring KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics are accurately reported and tracked.
what you will do at dscout:
- Technical ownership of our Marketing stack & CRM, which includes: HubSpot, SalesForce, Qualified, Google Analytics, LeanData, Mutiny, UserGems, and our website
- Support end-to-end campaign execution (including but not limited to email building, database segmentation, webinar building, QA, etc.) and measurement
- Establish, document and maintain standardized operating procedures to ensure best practices for campaign execution, lead and account data management, account prioritization, and efficient sales follow up (SLAs)
- Manage the implementation of campaign tracking, utm parameters, goal setting, and other web analytics with google analytics and google tag manager
- Drive experimentation activities to generate qualified traffic and convert engaged buying signals into revenue
- Proactively partner with Demand Gen & RevOpps to report on campaign outcomes such as MQLs generated, sales follow up, pipeline created or accelerated, and closed won bookings
- Continually explore data to find trends, identify potential data issues, monitor MQL progress, and spot areas of improvement for processes and data quality
- Field and triage ad hoc requests from Demand Generation, troubleshoot data flow issues, streamline Marketing Operations processes, standardize reporting with Rev Operations and BI teams
- Manage and develop an ambitious marketing operations manager who has built solid foundations for campaign operations in HubSpot, lead scoring, and lead routing
what you will bring to dscout:
- 6+ years of Marketing Operations experience with B2B SaaS experience; startup experience preferred
- Advanced experience working with Hubspot & Salesforce; experience with Qualified, LeanData, and Mutiny is a plus
- First-hand experience in owning an account-centric database and measuring marketing’s contribution to pipeline
- An advanced understanding of attribution and measurement and marketing funnel management. Experience creating dashboards in Salesforce to measure marketing’s contribution to revenue, and HubSpot reports to monitor campaign performance
- Familiarity with email marketing, lead capture, paid media, conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing page optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), first and third-party intent data,and Account Based Marketing (ABM) concepts
- Experience building or optimizing a lead-to-revenue model that provides sales with accurate signals on where to focus their energy for the greatest likelihood of success, and working with sales to establish agreed upon SLAs
- Capability to effectively communicate complex business frameworks, processes, recommendations, and data to audiences across team and organizational levels
- Structured thinker, with strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate understanding of Google Tag manager Google Analytics tracking & reporting
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript is a plus
