Why We’re Hiring:
We are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who will help evolve Marketing at Harvest by architecting and optimizing the technology-related processes of the marketing team to drive acquisition through marketing automation.
As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape our tech stack, introduce best practices, and mature our marketing practice operations. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders (demand gen, sales, product marketing, engineering, data insights) and leverage all of the tools in our tech stack to acquire and nurture leads, convert prospects and promote customer expansion through marketing automation.
To be successful in this role, you should be an analytical and creative problem-solver, applying your previous Marketing Operations expertise to help us create a best in class tech stack.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
You’ll serve as our key marketing tech expert, managing the following day-to-day operations:
- Marketing Automation and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to architect and execute all marketing automation campaigns (i.e. email, in-app, and digital retargeting).
- Help us make smarter decisions faster and optimize the value of marketing activities by building, maintaining, and enhancing campaign reporting.
- Define, improve and refine lead scoring and lead flow processes to ensure optimal flow through the funnel and a smooth hand-off to Sales.
- Compliance and Database Integrity:
- Ensure database integrity and compliance with GDPR/CAN-SPAM .
- Partner with other internal stakeholders to maintain compliance best practices.
- Define and maintain best practices audience segmentation and database health to ensure high deliverability and accurate audience targeting.
- Oversee acquisition of lead lists and data appends.
- Best Practices Stewardship and Administration Oversight:
- Oversee the admin of our Hubspot account, including settings, architecture, governance, and integrations.
- Act as a first point of escalation on technical issues for our tech stack, providing support and collaborating with internal teams to resolve.
- Partner with other internal stakeholders, such as Sales, Product and Customer Success, to define, document, and maintain best practices workflows for other shared outreach platforms (Ada chat bot, Pendo, Customer.io).
- Create training documentation on marketing software tools as needed.
- Tech Stack Optimization:
- Stay current on marketing automation and technology trends.
- Perform Marketing tech stack audits and recommend configuration changes or additions to bridge any gaps between our capabilities and goals.
- Oversee the implementation and team training of new marketing tech solutions and/or integrations.
What You’ve Done:
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Operations Manager, Marketing Automation Manager, or similar role (5+ years of experience preferred)
- Extensive, hands-on experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms — especially Hubspot — with a proven track record of building campaigns and workflows that drive, capture, and convert demand.
- Experience with using other front-end and in-App marketing ecosystem tools such as Drift, Pendo and Customer.io.
- Obsessed with quality and a strong attention to detail.
- Creative approach to clearing obstacles and the perseverance to fast fail to success.
- Thorough knowledge of email marketing best practices, audience segmentation and methods to maintain list health and deliverability
- Proficient web development skills (i.e. HTML, CSS)
- Appetite and effort to stay up to date on the latest trends.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results.

- A competitive base pay: The salary for this role is $135,000 in USD. Every Harvester with the same role expectations receives the same base pay. And we aim to pay at the top of the market (informed by third-party data) for all roles.
