We are seeking a talented and driven Marketing Operations Manager to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing our marketing system strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, and quarterbacking key growth initiatives for the marketing team.
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of our marketing initiatives. First, you will set up, run, and optimize our marketing automation platform to create a scalable marketing system infrastructure. Second, you will work closely with the SVP of Marketing to quarterback key cross-functional initiatives and conduct ad hoc strategic analysis that enables the marketing team to successfully meet objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Partner with marketing team members to identify pain points and alleviate with streamlined processes and tool automation
- Own technical support and day-to-day operations for various types of marketing campaigns, creating automated processes and implementing improvements where necessary
- Coordinate essential marketing initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional partners to define scope, oversee deliverables, allocate necessary resources, and develop project plans
- Ensure the marketing team is enabled to measure and analyze their campaigns through self-serve reporting mechanisms
- Be a MAP/marketing technology SME who provides training, resources, and reusable, standardized program templates for the marketing team
- Work closely with other GTM ops, data science, and business applications teams to assist in executing cross-functional, strategic system projects
What you should have:
- A sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement strategic programs from ideation to launch
- A data-driven mindset and ability to excel at connecting the dots and solving complex problems
- 3-5 years of hands-on Marketo (or related platforms) experience
- Experience working in Salesforce (or related platforms) and a solid knowledge of the sync between the CRM and MAP
- Understanding of a B2B SaaS marketing function, funnel, and digital marketing strategies & tactics
- Comfort with data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, light SQL a plus.)
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues
- Love for process design and optimization
- Curiosity for how things work and high attentiveness to detail
- Technical skills and familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Zapier)
