JOB SUMMARY:

The Media Finance Manager works within the Finance & Accounting team and reports to the VP of Client Finance. This individual must be an energetic self-starter, with the ability to interface with many members of the organization and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will have high concentration in client finance, assisting the media team and client finance team with media reconciliations, report on media spend variances, and ensure timely client reporting related to media. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent time management skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy of your work.

This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit office.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for reconciling monthly planned verse used verse billed media
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day media finance operations
  • Collaborate with media team own financial accountability and maintain accuracy for responsible projects
  • Develop and review revenue forecast for media clients to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Responsible for revenue recognition for media projects 
  • Develop and maintain financial systems and help develop processes to improve workflows
  • Develop and analyze financial reports
  • Identify trends in financial performance and opportunities for cost savings

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a media finance role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
