Job Description

BryceTech is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The Analyst will provide Financial Management and Budget Analysis and Analytical support to the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Office of Administration (OA), Office of Finance (OF). The analyst will have experience working with Senior Leadership and Federal/Civilian Agencies and or Military Services. Contract Place of Performance is remote. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drafting/editing budget estimate submissions in addition to providing support in completing Congressional Budget Justifications.
  • Provide technical review and support of all federal budget process items pertaining to Congressional Budget Justifications.
  • Assisting officials in preparing/drafting budget background material for use in briefing officials for Congressional appropriations documents and/or meetings.
  • Participates in the review, revision, and documentation of budget formulation and justification processes and tools.
  • Drafting, proofreading, and editing policy and strategy documents, including briefing memos and policy recommendations.
  • Translate and transform complex technical documentation and information into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.
  • High Level writing and editing skills coupled with the ability to prepare and deliver briefings and reports to senior government executives and outside stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 8-10 years' experience with writing, budget development, and financial analysis support to federal agencies
  • Documented experience providing support for the preparation of budget estimate submissions as it pertains to Congressional Budget Justifications
  • Documented experience providing technical review of assigned budget processes including draft budget justifications, OMB, and Congressional inquiries

Additional Information

Pay: $115,000 - $125,000
