Our Product Management Team
At Second Dinner, the product management team are game developers. We are intimate partners with game design, UX, production, art, engineering, marketing, data, and analytics. These partnerships are critical to creating a game that is fun for our players and achieving our goals. Product managers at Second Dinner are embedded in the game team, writing design specs, creating wireframes, assessing scope & prioritization with engineering and production, and authoring content directly in the game! Every day will create new exciting opportunities to make an amazing game and team even better!
Your Role
You will report to the Senior Product Manager. Your primary responsibility is to partner with Design, Production, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and many other disciplines to dive deep to identify insights, make recommendations on the best next steps, and optimize features to make our game crazy fun and HUGE worldwide. You’ll also be helping us level up our LiveOps & Analytics capabilities to help make sure our game runs smoothly for years to come!

What You’ll Do:
- Create models and frameworks to continuously improve decision making and identify opportunities for growth across the player experience
- Define KPIs to drive business and product analysis. Dive deep into data using our self-service analytics tools as well as running your own SQL queries.
- Perform competitive research, analyze industry trends, and share best practices to ensure we are on the the forefront of making and operating an industry leading game
- Use a blend of product intuition, competitive intelligence, consumer sentiment, and data to improve our understanding of the potential impact of content and feature proposals
- Encourage experimentation and optimization to improve the game
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to implement, measure, and improve LiveOps events, in-game purchasing experiences, and live service features
- Partner with the analytics team to deeply understand our players and game, and translate insights into recommendations for product strategies
- Partner with the production team to identify opportunities to streamline LiveOps workflows
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working in IDEs such as Rider or Visual Studio
- Experience using analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) coupled with strong data storytelling experience
- Experience writing queries in SQL to extract raw data
- Exposure with optimization, experimentation, and impactful live service feature changes on games or other consumer products
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control solutions
- Passionate player of video games
- Be curious! Seeks new insights and discovers ways to utilize them to improve the game
- Be creative! Pitch ideas that are targeted towards increasing specific KPIs
- Experience in a highly collaborative cross-functional work environment
- Thinks both analytically and creatively; the best solutions are usually art + science
Nice to Have But Not Necessary:
- Passion for mobile and/or free-to-play games
- Technical knowledge or ability to code in Unity / C#
- Previous startup experience
The total compensation for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 USD + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses.
Individual pay within this salary range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future. Your recruiter can answer any questions about new hire total compensation during the hiring process.
