Job Description
We're looking for an ambitious UX/UI designer with a product and user-centric mindset to work on personalising user experience for millions of our users as well as contributing towards enhancing their engagement and retention.
You'll be joining a team that collaborates extensively with our product and engineering teams and has an abundance of freedom to test new ideas and hypothesis and challenge the status-quo because every voice deserves to be heard, and this applies not only to our users but even more so to our teams.
What you will do
- Design user interfaces for our existing web and mobile applications that are used by more than 24M people from 55 countries
- Propose UI/UX solutions for new product features
- Build prototypes, gather feedback, and constantly iterate
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams in a true partnership model
- Participate in meetings and different activities of the YouGov Design team (e.g. knowledge sharing and feedback sessions)
Qualifications
What you need to bring to the role
- Commercial experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Proficiency in using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven experience with Mobile and Web design
- Experience in creating and maintaining a design system
- Ability to communicate design choices effectively to stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and understanding of design trade-offs
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
