Everyone’s got the message: machine learning is changing everything. And for Fortune 500 brands in every vertical, it’s actually true — ML predictions are solving billion-dollar, migraine problems. But for smaller brands, the talent and investment needed to build an ML platform are simply out of reach.  

Black Crow is changing that--fast. Founded by a team that has spent the last decade in machine learning, our mission is to help DTC brands turbocharge their growth by delivering bespoke, Fortune 500-grade ML predictions. It works out of the box, delivered as a service, and costs less than one data scientist. Integration: one click. 

12 months ago, we had one DTC brand using our predictions. Now we have over 150 — including SAKARA, Burrow, Kinder Beauty, and Native. There are 50,000 more who haven’t heard of us yet.

The team + culture

This is the 3rd company Black Crow’s founders have started together. Both previous companies scaled to >$100MM and were voted ‘Best Places to Work’ in NYC many times.

The founders are building Black Crow to be commercially successful, high growth, and valuable. But that’s insufficient as an end--we’re also building a company that we actually want to work at! Where you come in. 

We’re looking for proven and successful SaaS sellers to further drive our rapid growth — and contribute to our unique culture.   

You’ll own and manage the full sales cycle for 50+ DTC brands each quarter. Once you’re fully ramped, you’ll be signing 7+ deals every month, and you’ll generate more than $1MM in new ARR for Black Crow per year. 

To get there, we expect you to excel in three areas. You’ll master our product, the DTC landscape, and our buyers; you’ll build authentic and lasting relationships with your prospects and colleagues; and, of course, you’ll be an expert SaaS seller, from pitching to closing.

What you’ve done.

You’ve spent at least 3 years in a SaaS sales role selling into DTC / ecommerce buyers. During that time, you were a top 25% performer on your team, and consistently achieved your quota. 

You have proven success sourcing and nurturing your own pipeline (may as a BDR in a former life), producing 50-70% of your own pipeline.

You have experience selling a high volume of deals (20+ / quarter) at mid-market price points ($25 - 150K.) 

Finally, you buck the traditional sales stereotype. While you are driven and consistently deliver great results; you are also thoughtful, strategic, and — like the rest of us here at Black Crow — human first. The partnerships you sign are long lasting because they’re built on top of authentic relationships.

$85,000 - $100,000 a year

$150,000-200,000 OTE, 50/50 split, dependent on experience
