JOB DESCRIPTION
NuBinary is growing and we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to promote and represent NuBinary in the startup and innovation ecosystem in Canada and the United States with primary focus in Ontario. The Operation Manager will engage and build strong and trusting relationships with partners on an ongoing basis, and coordinate and set up meetings, workshops, webinars and events to promote the company brand and services. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, an excellent communicator, and possess a keen attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- This is a contract full-time position (40 working hours per week).
- Experience in startup and innovation ecosystem, especially in mentorship or advisory capacity, will be considered a significant asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Other spoken and written languages will be considered an asset
- Proficient computer skills specifically GSuite
- Goal oriented self-motivator with the ability to work independently is a must.
- A positive attitude, professional persona that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity and sincerity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively find and engage new partners and scout for new opportunities.
- Engage and guide sales leads and assist them with their inquiries, collaborate with NuBinary internal team to quote, and close on deals
- Assist in refinement, and improvement of Marketing strategies as we learn from customer feedbacks and concerns
- Assist in content creation for company’s Marketing collaterals, Website Content, Blog posts, etc.
- Manage online marketing contractors and keep everyone in sync and focused on objectives set
- Improve and refine the company sales and business development playbook on on-going basis to enable the company to create a team for business growth for similar roles
- Engage with NuBinary partners on monthly basis and have check-in emails or calls
- Providing reports on daily, weekly and monthly objectives and progress of the leads assigned.
- Provide a sound strategy for all the related activities one month after starting the position and create detailed reports and refinements to the set strategy on monthly basis
- Assist in hiring and onboarding processes, including resume screening, candidate follow ups, etc.
PREFERABLE TO HAVE
- University degree is preferable, but not required
- Experience in a business to business environment is an attractive option
- Understands the competitive landscape and customer needs so as to effectively drive conversations
- Previous startup experience
LOCATION: Toronto-Waterloo corridor (but open to other parts in Canada)
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Hybrid
SALARY : 65,000(CAD) based on experience
