Bugcrowd is looking for a creative, problem solver to join our Operations team as a Project Manager. In this role you will manage all aspects of assigned project themes within Operations which may include process development, marketing and events initiatives, community development programs, and product services. As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the entirety of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.

Primary Role Responsibilities:

  • Works with assigned teams and partners to define projects, identify expected outcomes, establish timelines, assign tasks out, and drive to the defined deliverables.
  • Reviews technical project requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers, delegates responsibilities to developers, engineers, or other information technology staff, and ensures that work is completed as needed.
  • Prepares reports detailing project status and communicates updates to project stakeholders. Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards.
  • Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. 
  • Coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfying delivery. 
  • Manages technical and non-technical aspects of the project. 
  • Assembles project teams, and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project.
  • Serves as liaison between team members and management team regarding projects.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor. 
  • Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. 
  • Assists with the development and implementation of project management practices, processes, methodologies, and metrics.

Desired Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with Agile Project Management. (Certification a plus)
  • Performs work under minimal supervision. 
  • Experience with handling multiple, concurrent projects in different swim streams
  • Ability to develop and mentor others. 
  • Able to effectively negotiate and influence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships. 
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills. 
  • Ability to work tightly with cross-functional partners across the organization, including product, sales, and operations.
  • Able to project and program manage complex projects amidst competing priorities and needs.
  • Immaculate written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range Disclosure:

The base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to Qualifications, Geographical Location, Education/certifications, Experience, Skill Sets, Training, and other business and organizational needs. 

At Bugcrowd, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for the position of an Operations Project Manager is: $65,700 - $117,100.

This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
