Base Pay Range:

$81,509.00 - $122,263.00

Job Summary:

Accelerating growth in our search program is an integral component of Vroom's performance marketing strategy. To continue scaling our search efforts, we are building a high-caliber performance marketing team and hiring an experienced SEM senior analyst to manage and optimize Vroom's 8-figure search program - a mission-critical and highly-funded marketing channel. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and expanding all aspects for Vroom’s paid search program. The ideal candidate can develop innovative, creative search programs that drive new prospects and expand on existing campaigns to improve efficiency. The SEM Senior Analyst will work with internal performance marketing team members, as well as outside agency and partners, to grow lead acquisition by generating detailed marketing plans for new campaign launches, setting up our digital campaigns (goals, audience targeting, media strategy, tracking, etc.) and providing actionable insights to optimize live campaigns. We are seeking someone with a passion for driving results via search engine marketing and extensive knowledge of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

This role will (among other responsibilities):

  • Actively monitor SEM spend against budgets and allocate campaign investment based on most effective return
  • Follow channel best practices, activate new launches, ensure data integrity, and regularly evaluate data quality
  • Analyze performance metrics to diagnose root cause of performance fluctuations and apply necessary optimizations
  • Develop and execute rigorous testing plans, collect data, and craft actionable insights for future testing
  • Seek out opportunities to automate and streamline campaign management and reporting processes
  • Help review/set up conversion tracking, pixels and tags for proper integration of analytics tools
  • Guide the work of SEM analyst, mentor & aid in their progress, and contribute to their successful development
  • Communicate with internal teams on performance trends and external platform leads on key opportunities
  • Support team on future quarter planning and end of quarter campaign analysis & reporting
  • Build spend and return forecasts using internal and external projection tools
  • Develop positive rapport with vendors and cross-departmental colleagues
