Our company is looking for an experienced and skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join our payroll tax team who will be responsible for the filings and remittance of our customers’ federal, state, and local payroll taxes. This position requires compliance with all payroll tax regulatory reporting, researching, and responding to tax notices, processing of amended tax returns as well as assisting our customers with their payroll tax related questions and inquiries.

What you’ll need to accomplish!

  • Daily deposit review for all tax payments coming due for our customers and ensures payments are processed timely
  • Payroll Tax filings completed timely for withholding, unemployment, and local agencies.
  • Monitoring customer payroll tax setup to ensure accuracy
  • Review and communicate tax identification numbers needed for our customers as well as any missing Power of Attorney documents, Third Party Website attachments, withholding frequencies and tax rates
  • Review and respond to customer payroll tax inquiries and payroll tax agency notices that are sent in for review
  • Take on special projects as needed

What you’ll need to have!

  • Payroll Tax Experience: 3+ years minimum
  • MasterTax Experience: Preferred
  • SalesForce Experience: preferred
  • UKG (Kronos) experience: preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Trustworthy and follows through on commitments

This position's approximate base salary range is $55,000-$75,000 based on candidate's experience, education, and geographic location.
