Your Role as a People & Culture Business Partner:
As the People & Culture Business Partner of the APAC region (inclusive of Malaysia and Australia), you will partner and collaborate across the People & Culture (P&C) function to deliver value-added service to leaders and team members that reflect the business objectives and values of the organization. You’ll build trusted connections with our leaders and team members and build an excellent team experience with them throughout the journey. You will oversee the P&C Operations and Office Administration.
A Day in the Life of a People & Culture Business Partner:
- Proactively advise and consult with leaders to ensure a high-performance mindset.
- Ensures our culture and values are being lived throughout our teams.
- Provide support across the employee lifecycle, in areas like onboarding, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Resolve complex team member relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement).
- Work closely with leaders and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide input on team structure, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy and understanding of other business units’ operations within the organization, specifically in the region.
- Ability to identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Oversee the P&C Operations in areas of benefits enrollments, employment visa applications and/or renewals, payroll processing, and liaise with relevant government authorities and third-party vendors.
- Oversee the office administration and ensure OSHA compliance
- Other ad hoc responsibilities assigned from time to time.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Resource, Psychology or a combination of relevant business degree with minimum 7 years of professional experience in HR preferable with 2 years in Business Partnering.
- Experience in the technology industry, SaaS preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
- In-depth understanding of the relevant laws, regulations and compliance requirements that are applicable.
- Great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers across teams and regions.
- A passion for creating work experiences people love.

- Motivator with strong sense of urgency, responsibility, cultural sensitivity and resourcefulness.
