People Operations Manager

The People Operations Manager will support the daily functions of a global People Team. The Operations Manager will focus on process improvement with a focus on the employee experience and success.

Responsibilities

  • Performs tasks required to administer people programs including but not limited to compensation, leaves of absence, and compliance training
  • Partners with internal People teams - Payroll, Benefits, and Talent, to resolve manager and employee questions within defined timelines
  • Supports cyclical processes including compensation planning projects, compensation surveys, employee surveys, required federal and state reporting
  • Gathers data and prepares cyclical and ad-hoc HR reports, scorecards/dashboards, and analyses on key HR metrics utilizing Google/MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, or other data analytics/visualization tools
  • Assists in the development and implementation of employment policies, and updating of policies and procedures as required by local regulations and best practices
  • Monitors legal compliance with state specific employment regulations and standards
  • Maintains accurate record keeping standards, adhering to local, state and country requirements
  • Develops custom reports as needed by Business or People Partners
  • Support immigration matters throughout the visa process and provides guidance to managers and employees as needed 
  • Supports processes and systems to enhance the compliance and accuracy of employment practices and data
  • Supports internal and external audits providing required data within defined timelines
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives 

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as an HR professional 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a generalist role
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Proactive and takes initiative in seeing tasks to completion
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

$88,200 - $115,000 a year

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, New York Fair Chance Act, and any other state or local hiring regulations, we will consider for employment any qualified applicant, including those with arrest and conviction records, in a manner consistent with the applicable regulation. 

OpenX is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in New York, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, the base salary range is $88,200-115,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
