About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive People Operations & Recruitment Specialist to support both our People Operations and Talent Acquisition functions. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a keen eye for detail. You will play a vital role in creating a smooth employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding, while also ensuring efficient coordination of the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new hires. This includes preparing contracts, collecting necessary documentation, coordinating equipment setup, and scheduling orientation sessions.
- Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews, system deactivation, final payroll coordination, and gathering feedback to improve employee experiences.
- Maintain and update HRIS and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment, employee inquiries, and liaising with providers as needed.
- Assist in drafting and implementing people policies and procedures to enhance employee engagement and compliance.
- Coordinate and support internal employee engagement initiatives such as company events, well-being programs, and culture-building activities.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies, processes, and benefits.
Recruitment Coordination
- Manage the logistics of interview scheduling, liaising between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless process.
- Assist in candidate communications, responding to inquiries, providing status updates, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
- Post job openings on various job boards and company career pages.
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate data is up to date and properly categorized.
- Assist with recruitment reporting, tracking key hiring metrics, and providing insights for process improvements.
- Support employer branding initiatives by assisting with social media posts, recruitment events, and other engagement efforts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in HR coordination, People Operations, or Recruitment support is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR) is a plus.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Salary: $8-9 an hour
