About the role

Kicking off, you will be supporting a small (but beautifully formed) group of People Business Partners you will be working really closely with the team and assisting with global projects, the People Business Partner team’s day to day work tasks, and help to run our own projects, you will help to translate Zepz’s vision and business strategy to support our People plans and promote Zepz as an employer of choice. You will work very closely with the People Business Partners and across each of the functions they support and you will build strong relationships and networks across the People team, centralised functions and business leaders. You will confidently flex your style to be involved and supportive yet challenge where appropriate.

As a People Team project manager, you will move and project manage across all People functions over time - as and when the need arises.

Reporting to a People Business Partner you will:

  • Support and work across all functions, supporting and working with all of the People Business Partners, delivering on projects and BAU work, becoming their trusted colleague, developing strong relationships with them as well as across the wider People team 
  • You will have experience and knowledge of ER and HR requirements across a variety of global regions and you will be at the heart of supporting our ER issues globally too. You will be willing and eager to learn about employment law and best practice in all Zepz regions, and commit to adding these learnings to practical playbooks.
  • Have great experience of org design and operating model design.
  • You'll be working closely with the People team functions such as People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll and Employee Brand ensuring our colleagues have the right support to develop and grow with us.  
  • You will contribute to the development of our People operations making them smoother, automated and more responsive, ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant legislation.
  • You will assist with the development of policies and procedures, appropriate documentation and recommendations, including reviewing and updating company policies when we need to.
  • And you will also be analysing and interpreting People metrics with a natural focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Work on exciting People projects - consultations, org design, talent management and everything in between.

What you bring to the table:

  • Lots of ER and HR experience with a broad knowledge of full cycle HR disciplines and a sound knowledge of employment legislation. Any global ER and HR experience would be very appreciated.
  • Business Partnering and/or People Project experience or the want to move into either – we would love to see strong partnering and collaboration skills.
  • Experience of working in a scaling business would be great: high growth, evolving needs and lots of change should be something you really love. Be prepared for ambiguity! And you will be happy to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail.
  • Experience with org design / op model work
  • Strong Communication skills: you will be able to deliver clear, direct, messages and build strong relationships.
  • Self-starter: high level of energy and drive, able to work independently with direction.
  • Solution-focused thinker: empathy, can-do attitude, proactive and mature decision-making skills.
