About the Role
A Performance Architect ensures the availability of RainFocus applications by monitoring systems, addressing scalability problems, and helping triage production issues.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitor production systems performance proactively to help address scalability issues before they happen
- Help triage, architect, and manage high priority issues as assigned by CloudOps or Tech Management
- Architect and develop tooling as needed to automate or improve monitoring and alerting processes
Required Experience/Skills/Attributes:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- BS in Computer Science, a similar field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in Object-Oriented design and programming.
- Experience working with a Relational Database Management System, including database design and advanced SQL queries.
- Experience scaling systems in a high traffic environment.
- Experience using a variety of technologies to solve problems, and being able to pick the right tool for the job.
- Able to communicate well to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to organize and own complex problems.

This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States of America.
