About the Role

A Performance Architect ensures the availability of RainFocus applications by monitoring systems, addressing scalability problems, and helping triage production issues.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production systems performance proactively to help address scalability issues before they happen
  • Help triage, architect, and manage high priority issues as assigned by CloudOps or Tech Management
  • Architect and develop tooling as needed to automate or improve monitoring and alerting processes

Required Experience/Skills/Attributes:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • BS in Computer Science, a similar field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Object-Oriented design and programming.
  • Experience working with a Relational Database Management System, including database design and advanced SQL queries.
  • Experience scaling systems in a high traffic environment.
  • Experience using a variety of technologies to solve problems, and being able to pick the right tool for the job.
  • Able to communicate well to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to organize and own complex problems.

This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States of America.
