Platform Engineer
Your challenge
Work as a Platform Engineer on the HSP Platform Engineering team building the next iteration of the HealthSuite Platform on AWS. We provide pre-configured AWS accounts to enable teams to run their applications and services in a secure, compliant environment.
You are responsible for
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows for the provisioning, monitoring, and management of AWS accounts and EKS clusters.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure AWS account configurations meet security and compliance standards.
- Implement AWS security best practices across a wide range of services.
- Ensure robustness, scalability and security for managed environments.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
- Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years hands-on experience in platform engineering, systems administration or similar roles.
- Strong experience with virtualization, containers and Kubernetes(Ingress, Argo CD, CNI)
- Experience with AWS services such as: EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, VPC.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
- This is a remote role and only candidates living in the West Coast area will be considered.

Philips Transparency Details:
The pay range for this position is $126,000- $233,00.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
