Responsibilities:

  • This leader will utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help the team to operate at its highest potential by leading design-inspired process (empathize, discover, ideate, build and deploy) and enable our customers to achieve their desired results with their significant investment in the ServiceNow platform.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee the development of UX/UI Designers. Manage career progression including hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure leading practices and quality
  • Participate in workshops with clients and end users to define system requirements, problems, and goals
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to accurately transform business requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform
  • Work with designers to deliver UI layouts including controls, labels, and graphical elements for software on both mobile and desktop platforms with an eye towards experience
  • Explore various design approaches to solve specific user problems.
  • Implement the latest design innovations to ensure that the solution is in accordance with the cutting-edge technology
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to demonstrate the functioning and layout of the product
  • Optimizes UI designs and tests for intuitiveness and user-centeredness
  • Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and associates at all levels of the organization to meet companies' objectives
  • Ability to lead a group of teams located across multiple time zones
  • 5+ years developing/administrative/implementation experience on the ServiceNow platform ITSM/ITOM/ITBM/SecOps solutions (any or all) in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in Service Portal Development including custom widget development, an extension of OOB widgets, and utilization of 3rd party libraries within ServiceNow
  • Experience with dynamic and responsive web design
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment.
