A Day in the Life

  • Design, develop, implement, and test Power BI reports and DAX measures
  • Collaborate with Stoneridge Delivery Team consultants and provide input on areas of focus for BI within implementation projects
  • Work with customers and Stoneridge functional consultants to understand business requirements
  • Understand the data/architecture of any combination of Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations, Customer Engagement, and/or Business Central
  • Analyze the data needed for the areas of focus for BI within the implementation project
  • Provide input on level of detail needed to outline report designs
  • Offer best-practice recommendations for creating reports within Power BI 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field – preference for advanced degrees
  • 2+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer
  • Ability to think creatively, critically, and artistically and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Dynamics ERP and/or CRM implementations including Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Ability to use SQL to navigate data in a SQL Server database
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside Stoneridge
  • Ability to work collaboratively for the best interests of the business and the team
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric: Seek individuals with a strong background in data integration and engineering, particularly with Microsoft Fabric’s data integration and Lakehouse-powered data engineering capabilities
  • Training and Facilitation Experience: Experience in training end-users on Power BI, including creating educational materials and conducting interactive workshops or webinars
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric: Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Fabric, an end-to-end analytics product that integrates with Power BI to enhance data and analytics capabilities
  • Customized Training Development: Proficiency in developing customized training programs tailored to the unique requirements of different clients, focusing on their data and analytics challenges
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
  • Foster and champion psychological safety and a positive team environment

Work Location: This position is available on a REMOTE basis in the United States or REMOTE in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan). 

Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to regularly meet with client teams across the United States and Canada will be asked to attend industry events from time to time.

Compensation

  • Our philosophy is to provide compensation that is Competitive, Equitable, and Driven by Performance. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data. To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. These are national ranges, inclusive of bonus opportunities and could represent multiple role levels.

Canada (CAD): C$95,000 - C$137,500
